Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland (UQ). Research students have three minutes to present their thesis and its significance in an inspiring and captivating way.
This year's competition is by video submission, and we're looking very forward to screening our finalists' videos live at the finals event, taking place Friday 4 August from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. This event will be a combination live-audience and live-streamed event.
Join us at the event, either face to face or online, to watch our 2023 AUT 3MT Competition finalists' videos being screened, cast your Audience Vote, and hear the judges' decisions. Those attending in person will have the opportunity to network over nibbles and non-alcoholic drinks following the screening of the finalists' videos.
Please indicate whether you will be attending. For those in person we require this information to finalise catering, for those virtually so that we can provide you with the live-stream event. It is important that if you are intending to come that you register.
More information about this event, including details of the finalists, is available here on the AUT website: aut.ac.nz/3mt
